Platycodon (Root) / Jie Geng
Helps diffuse the lung and transforms phlegm. The Chinese herb diffuses and opens Lung Qi while dispelling phlegm.
Schizonepeta (Plant) / Jing Jie
This slightly warming herb is effective in dispelling wind and resolving the exterior. It supports the body as its working through cold season.
Aster (Root) / Zi Wan
This powerful herb supports the lung channel, helping moisten the lung, transforming phlegm and helping with coughs.
Stemona (Root) / Bai Bu
According to Chinese herbal medicine theory, this slightly sweet, bitter herb is used for a wide variety of coughs.
Cynanchum Stauntoni (Root) / Bai Qian
Sometimes referred to as “willowleaf swallowwort”, this sweet, slightly warming herb bears down on Qi and transforms phlegm.
Citrus (Peel) / Chen Pi
This pungent, bitter and “warming” herb is believe to circulate both stomach and liver Qi, which helps strengthen the spleen. This can help with a stomach that needs to feel better.
Licorice (Root) / Gan Cao
